El paso del tiempo nos pasa factura a casi todos, los coches les pasa prácticamente igual incluso unos modelos sobreviven mejor este paso del tiempo, el Giulietta no sabemos si realmente sea un ejemplo claro pero lo cierto es que se mantiene vivo.

Sus líneas europeas se mantienen intactas en esta generación, el acabado Veloce añade unos elementos diferentes para destacar sobre el resto de versiones que sin embargo se pueden añadir como pack adicional de diseño. 

Mucho carbono en los elementos exteriores, retrovisores, faldas laterales y añadidos en los paragolpes que además se le suma unos toques de lineas amarillas para dar ese aspecto más deportivo al compacto.

Las llantas oscuras con las pinzas de freno en amarillo con el nombre de Alfa Romeo dan un aspecto muy bonito al Giulietta, además que el color Azul Misano con toda la combinación exterior me ha parecido muy acertada.

En dimensiones como en formas se mantiene intacto a lo que hemos probado hasta ahora de la gama Giulietta, si bien es cierto que no muestra unas lineas actuales, se sigue desmarcando notablemente de sus competidores.

Los interiores de los coches compactos en mi opinión deben sumar practicidad+materiales agradables y espacio equilibrado.

Directamente los materiales están bien combinados a nivel estético, existe carbono tanto en salpicadero como en las puertas, además el plástico más elevado tiene una textura que a mi particularmente no me ha terminado de agradar, sin embargo podemos ver unas ventanas bordeadas de una goma gamuzada que da un aspecto mucho más cuidado.

La practicidad en este coche es muy baja a mi gusto, los sitios para guardar objetos son escasos y los que estan sencillamente son pequeños.

El diseño del salpicadero es muy bonito aunque le pesa muchisimo el pasar del tiempo, no encontramos una pantalla de infoentretenimiento de mejor formato, su tamaño me parece algo pequeña así como la infografia del sistema es poco atractiva. El cuadro de instrumentos es analógico pero con un diseño espectacular incluso no me disgusta su ordenador de abordo en blanco y negro porque ofrece buena información y es sencillo.

El espacio para 5 ocupantes es aceptable, siendo por supuesto la central trasera la menos agradable para viajes largos, el maletero es correcto y sus formas son aprovechables dentro del segmento.

El motor 2.0 JTD de Alfa Romeo ya es algo conocido, sin embargo para mi era un objetivo poderle probar en este Giulietta con 170cv para poder comprobar su comportamiento de compacto deportivo o simplemente de “intento de”.

Cuando digo esto es porque a mi particularmente no me cuadra un coche diesel con deportividad lo siento para los que no esten de acuerdo conmigo, y sé que hay muchas alternativas muy potentes, pero no me gustan.

Sin embargo para un coche como este de uso diario y con algo de nervio para cuando quieras divertirte en tus rutas pues no viene nada mal este tipo de opciones.

El Giulietta me ha sorprendido por su comportamiento dinámico general, el sistema de conducción DNA ofrece alternativas al uso para que puedas elegir más deportividad o control sobre el asfalto, en ningún momento vas a notar algo demasiado brusco en cuanto a suspensión por ejemplo, pero si en la reacción del motor como de la dirección.

La frenada me ha parecido incluso algo sobrada para este coche, el pedal del freno puede ser hasta confortable de más, eso vendrá bien cuando el coche es de uso intensivo por tráfico de ciudad.

El puesto de conducción es cómodo y la visibilidad es correcta, los asientos recogen bien además el tacto de su tapizado es muy bueno. El uso del sistema de infoentretenimiento como os indique antes es algo antiguo para mi gusto sin embargo ofrece Apple CarPlay y Android Auto así como la proyección por HDMI.

En temas de consumos nos ha parecido aceptable, una media de 6,7 litros a los 100 kms no está mal pero siendo sinceros no es para tirar cohetes tampoco, así que hay muchos competidores que ofrecen potencias incluso algo más arriba y consumos más contenidos, otra cosa es que el Giulietta sea sincero y los otros no.

El segmento de los compactos es uno de los más complicados desde hace muchos años si ahora le sumamos la nueva moda crossover-suv podemos tener una infinidad de opciones por los 30.835€ que piden por el Giulietta Veloce sinceramente no tengo más opción que mirar los demás competidores, sin embargo es un modelo que si optas por descuentos o promociones ya puede resultar un modelo más que interesante. Una pega sería un diseño que no se ha renovado demasiado y que mantiene una herencia muy europea sin apenas cambios durante esta generación.

Pero esto para muchos es algo favorable porque prefieren un coche con mejor comportamiento que lo estético, y en esto el Giulietta gana con buena nota, tiene ese equilibrio para el dia a dia y divertirte en tus viajes o rutas.
