Hace unos 7 años atrás nació el A7 de la marca de los cuatro aros, derivado de su primo-hermano A6 pero convertido en una carrocería coupé – Gran Turismo y así hacer frente a sus competidores más directos como el Porsche Panamera o el Serie 6 GT de BMW. Pero es una oportunidad que hemos dicho que sí para luego de estos años darle una despedida por todo lo alto, porque justo hace unas semanas fue presentado el nuevo A7 Sportback 2018 y con ello la marca de los cuatro aros deberá jubilar de la venta como coche nuevo al A7 primera generación, eso sí, primero nos ponemos al volante del Audi A7 Sportback 2017 y os comentaremos cómo queda este coche como opción de compra a partir de ahora.

No tengo muy claro si la segunda generación podría gustarme más.

Partiendo de un modelo como la primera generación del A7 es complicado poder mejorar lo presente, ya visto lo que Audi despliega para la segunda generación técnicamente y visualmente mejora mucho esta nueva generación, aunque el jubilado sigue teniendo una sonrisa pintada en su morro, que es inevitable no pensar y quererle como el primer dia.

Un coche con estas dimensiones generales, y un acabado premium lo menos que puedes esperar obviamente es que el coche te ofrezca un interior impecable, y así lo es, pero siempre tiene que existir un “pero” no esta con el ADN más actual de la marca de los cuatro aros y eso por más que sea pasa factura, por más que intente la marca de ofrecer retoques en diseño y en acabados hay muchos desarrollos nuevos que no son posibles de aplicar si no es bajo una nueva caja o plataforma, ahora llamada segunda generación.

El A7 que estamos probando tiene una capacidad de 5 ocupantes que además ofrece en algunas versiones 4 plazas, su tapizado en cuero y mezcla de colores oscuros con claros destacan de una manera increíble en un coche como este. Además ofreciendo un maletero amplio “más no el más grande, del segmento” aún así es práctico y amplio, es lo que tiene ser berlina con porton.

Tenemos con nosotros el motor V6 3.0 TDI de 272cv conectado a la mítica tracción quattro® de Audi acoplados a la caja S-tronic de 7 velocidades un complemento general muy atractivo, digamos que es el punto intermedio de potencia y confort de marcha ofrecido en la gama A7, los tenemos con menor potencia y con mayor potencia, tanto con motorización gasolina TFSI o la diesel TDI.

Los consumos pueden variar por el modo de conducción, diréis “obvio”; pero quiero aclararlo porque aquí se cumple la función de modos de conducción que trae el coche “Drive Select” que nos va permitir elegir un modo más acorde al tipo de conducción y que además sean aliados para nosotros que nos guste mayor aceleración o una inmejorable puntuación en términos de consumos. En esta bestia de casi 5 metros de largo podemos obtener 7,2 litros/100 kms en conducción suave, en cambio por lo alto en algo de conducción dinámica puedes obtener una media de 12,3 litros/100 kms.

En todo momento el confort de marcha es impecable, si llevas el modo Dynamic es un poco más dura la suspensión pero si lo llevas en Confort es increíble el cambio de uno a otro, podrás devorar kilómetros sin mayor problema.

Como era de esperar en la unidad que nos han cedido no podemos contabilizar con las dedos de las manos sobre el equipamiento opcional que incluye esta unidad porque nos faltarían dedos, el hecho es que este A7 Sportback que nos trae un acabado S-Line ofrece un diseño y acabado impecable, entre la elegancia bien combinada con la deportividad de un gran turismo.

La primera generación del A7 va cumpliendo con su objetivo en el mundo del motor, aún así las últimas unidades que habrán disponibles de este modelo seguro quedarán como una opción de compra “increíble” para quien busque este tipo de coche, esta unidad por ejemplo de los 78.000 € que vale ahora, en el mercado de segunda-mano, ocasión y km0 bajará mucho su precio y más por la nueva generación que está al caer de cara al 2018. Ahora bien si eres de los que no quiere estar sin algo que no sea la moda o la actualidad en todo, pues este A7 no te va resultar porque se te quedará corto de cara a la segunda generación, pero si en cambio no te importa tanto todo lo anterior y puedes hacerte con uno como este que hemos probado, ni lo dudes…..
