Señores menudo interior lleva este BMW serie 5, la mezcla de colores oscuros con el tapizado opcional en cuero color hueso te hacen sentir en un salón de lujo, comodidad y muy buenos acabados. El espacio en general es muy bueno sus casi 5 metros de largo le hacen ser un referente en su segmento porque vas muy cómodo tanto adelante como en las plazas traseras. Sinceramente me ha faltado un techo practicable o solar en este coche así poner la guinda al pastel por completo…

El espacio del maletero 570 litros de capacidad mínima como sus 1.700 de capacidad máxima hacen de este familiar una opción atractiva si lo que buscas es espacio en un familiar-ranchera, igualmente tiene competidores que le ganan o están muy cerca de estos números pero que con tanta calidad interior pocos pueden ser ganadores.

Con un motor Twin Turbo de BMW de 1.995 cm3 de cilindrada con 190cv y 400Nm de par el familiar bávaro se presenta como un coche con buen pedigree, una caja automática de 8 velocidades que ayuda en pleno a este 520D a moverse con mucha soltura y con un punto de deportividad muy bueno.

El coche por sus dimensiones no es cómodo para transitar por ciudad ya no te cuento si te toca aparcar en la calle, tiene cámaras como ayudas al aparcamiento pero que apartando esto es el factor “suerte” que consigas espacio para este buque familiar. No obstante eso es lo que se paga por tener un coche confortable, amplio y con buen porte para devorar kilómetros en viajes por autovías.

En consumos de media hemos logrado unos 7,8 l/100 kms, más que apto para la mezcla de motorización, peso y tamaño general si le damos un poco más de alegría a la conducción con algunos abusos de levas y el pisar más el pedal del gas ya los consumos se pueden elevar por encima de los 8, 4 l/100 kms fácilmente.

La unidad del 5 Touring que tenemos lleva el paquete M como opcional, la pasión por el dinamismo pasa al primer plano. Unas imponentes tomas de aire, por ejemplo, confieren al frontal un aspecto llamativo. Las exclusivas molduras interiores en Aluminium Rhombicle, así como el guarnecido interior del techo BMW Individual Anthrazit, añaden un toque de dinamismo adicional al interior.

Además tenemos el cuadro de instrumentos digital de BMW que ofrece la tecnología del momento para competir duramente ante sus competidores, incluye un cargador inalámbrico y conexiones USB adicionales. Una conexión mediante la antena de techo mejora la recepción móvil. Es posible conectar simultáneamente dos teléfonos móviles y un reproductor de audio mediante Bluetooth.

Nuestra unidad además contaba con la llave inteligente BMW Display Key con la función de aparcamiento remoto, que permite al conductor salir del vehículo antes de introducirlo o sacarlo de una plaza de aparcamiento o garaje de espacio reducido. La función de aparcamiento remoto debe activarla el conductor desde el exterior del vehículo mediante BMW Display Key.

El Serie 5 Touring de BMW 2017 llega a seguir compitiendo muy alto frente a sus competidores, una tracción trasera y el feeling que da su dirección tan inmediata hacen de este familiar una propuesta correcta para disfrutar de la familia sin renunciar al gusto de conducir. Esta unidad con todos los extras incluidos llega a los 85.000 € un precio muy elevado para la motorización, esto no quiere decir que sea un fallo para nada, es un coche muy completo con detalle cuidado a lo más mínimo pero yo por ese precio optaría por una motorización más fuerte y menos accesorios.
