No es secreto que Honda en las últimas generaciones del Civic ha buscado siempre la fórmula de romper con los moldes de los diseños de coches compactos, y cada vez más se nota que quieren seguir en esa línea, a pesar de que esta generación han buscado dar un guiño al mercado europeo el modelo sigue siendo un coche muy impactante que a muchos agrada y a otros no tanto.

Los materiales empleados en el Civic siguen siendo de buena calidad tanto a la vista como al tacto, la marca ha buscado la forma de resaltar sin ser tan rompedores como en pasadas generaciones, incluso me atrevería apostar que han querido ir por la elegancia antes que el estilo futurista. En el salpicadero decimos adiós al cuadro de instrumentos en dos niveles de su anterior generación, sin embargo ahora ofrece una buena calidad de información digital en un único cuadro.
A destacar es su gran capacidad de maletero con más de 450 litros de capacidad mínima si no es de los más grandes ya estaríamos ante uno de los compactos con mejor maletero del momento. Además su boca de carga resulta cómoda y tenemos un doble fondo que nos va permitir jugar con esta disposición de maletero, así como dato curioso es la cortinilla de privacidad que se despliega lateral y no de fondo como estamos acostumbrados a ver sobre todo en coches SUV-Crossover, este detalle resulta interesante porque es una buena solución ante las tipicas bandejas que terminan en el garaje o trastero olvidadas.

Su posición de conducción es cómoda y con excelente visibilidad. La unidad que estamos probando es la 1.0 tricilíndrico de 129cv i-Vtec Turbo gasolina con caja manual de 6 velocidades, una combinación ideal para uso diario y poder salir cuando quieras de viaje de vacaciones o fines de semana. Unos viajes que si los realizas por montaña te va permitir una conducción muy divertida y segura.
Por ciudad el Civic tiene un comportamiento muy equilibrado dentro de la media del segmento sus dimensiones están acordes para poder disfrutar en cualquier hábitat de la ciudad. La palanca de cambios así como la relación de sus velocidades son una auténtica pasada, prácticamente entran solas y esto favorece en cualquiera de las situaciones de conducción. Además cuenta con un reglaje especial para la suspensión que se activa en la consola central, esto ayuda a un paso más firme y así poder ganar algo más de dinamismo. [/et_pb_text][et_pb_text admin_label=”Veredicto final” text_orientation=”justified” background_position=”top_left” background_repeat=”repeat” background_size=”initial” _builder_version=”3.17.6″]Yo en mi vida he pasado por muchos Honda Civic en concreto cuatro, así que mi opinión puede resultar la menos objetiva pero quizás para otros sea muy importante porque ahora mismo no tengo ningún Civic en propiedad y probando tantos modelos semanalmente puedo tener un poco más de visión sobre la actualidad, dicho esto el nuevo Honda Civic 5p es un modelo fantástico, no es perfecto como todo coche tiene sus mejoras, pero aún así es una opción más que válida para quien busque un compacto divertido, de buena calidad y con diseño muy distinto a lo que estamos acostumbrados a ver.
La motorización tricilíndrico es quizás la parte más complicada si me tocara decidir por este modelo, pero estando como está el segmento muy pocos modelos ofrecen otras alternativas sin que nos vayamos a precios más altos. A destacar su pedazo de maletero que resulta incluso mejor que muchos SUV actuales, buena 10ma generación del compacto japonés, larga vida al Honda Civic.
