utilitario. Hoy os mostraremos la versión sedán del coche más vendido de la historia, el Toyota
Corolla.
Por fuera, el Toyota Corolla Sedán nos ofrece una línea muy elegante y única, puesto que cada vez
hay menos sedanes en el mercado.
En el exterior podemos destacar una línea moderna a la vez que elegante. Los faros delanteros
varían respecto a sus hermanos hatchback y familiar, con una forma algo más común. Dichos faros
presentan tecnología Full LED en la versión que estamos probando, la ADVANCE. También nos
encontramos con acabados cromados que recorren el frontal desde los faros hasta el emblema
central de Toyota, o en las falsas entradas de aire situadas en los laterales del parachoques, donde
se ubican los faros antiniebla. Contamos además con una gran entrada de aire horizontal en forma
de boca, pintada en negro.
En el lateral encontramos acabados cromados alrededor de las ventanillas, que combinan con las
llantas de 18” específicas de este acabado ADVANCE, con acabados en plata y negro brillo. Tanto las
manetas de las puertas como los retrovisores van pintados del mismo color que el resto de la
carrocería. En los tiradores de las puertas delanteras encontraremos también el sistema de apertura
sin llave.
Donde más cambia este Toyota Corolla sedán es precisamente en la zaga, pues cuenta con una
carrocería de tres volúmenes. Sobre la tapa del maletero encontramos un pequeño spoiler que la
recorre de lado a lado, dándole un toque más deportivo. Los pilotos traseros, al igual que los faros
delanteros, presentan tecnología LED, y parte de los pilotos son transparentes y se integran con un
embellecedor cromado que recorre la tapa del maletero desde un piloto a otro.
No contamos con salidas de escape a la vista en el parachoques, ni falsos escapes, que es de
agradecer, puesto que el escape se encuentra oculto por detrás del parachoques. De este modo,
encontramos un parachoques bastante simétrico y limpio.
Análisis Interior

bastante aprovechable y presenta una boca de carga bastante ancha. La capacidad mínima del
maletero es de 529 litros que pueden ser ampliados gracias a que podemos abatir los respaldos
traseros en una distribución 60% 40%. Eso sí, encontraremos un importante escalón entre los
respaldos y el piso del maletero ya que no podemos variar en altura el fondo del maletero.
Las plazas traseras resultan ser bastante cómodas y amplias. En este acabado ADVANCE
encontramos los asientos tapizados en símil cuero, con un acolchado bastante cómodo. Con el
asiento del conductor ajustado a mi posición de conducción (mido 1,75m) nos sobran unos cuatro
dedos entre las rodillas y el respaldo del asiento. En la plaza central ocurre exactamente lo mismo, a
pesar de contar con un respaldo algo más duro debido al reposabrazos, el asiento sigue siendo
cómodo y amplio. En ningún momento rozas con el techo o con los asientos delanteros, por lo que la
habitabilidad interior es más que correcta. Además, las plazas traseras cuentan con asientos
calefactados y dos salidas de aire en la consola central.
La posición de conducción es bastante cómoda, es fácil encontrar la posición adecuada de
conducción a pesar de contar con regulación manual en vez de eléctrica.
Los acabados del salpicadero y del revestimiento de las puertas es bastante bueno, pues
encontramos plásticos blandos y partes con la tapicería de los asientos y bien acabados, pues apenas
hemos encontrado ruidos producidos por los ajustes del salpicadero.
En el centro del salpicadero encontramos el sistema de climatización que cuenta con mandos físicos,
lo cual resulta más cómodo que acceder a través de la pantalla de infoentretenimiento. Justo
encima se ubica la pantalla de 8” con navegación y conectividad Apple Car Play. El cuadro de
instrumentos en el acabado ADVANCE cuenta con una pantalla central a color de gran tamaño
donde se muestra la información necesaria para la conducción, como la velocidad, consumos o
modos de conducción.
Como en el resto del habitáculo, las plazas delanteras son amplias y con buena visibilidad en todas
las direcciones. Esta sensación de amplitud tiene buena parte de su ser en la forma del túnel central,
pues se encuentra por debajo del salpicadero y no es excesivamente ancho. En él encontramos un
cargador inalámbrico, los botones que accionan la calefacción de los asientos delanteros, la palanca
del cambio automático, así como el selector de modos de conducción que cuenta con un botón
específico para conducción 100% eléctrica.
Como no podía ser de otra manera, en la consola central no podía faltar la presencia de Piano Black. Por último, contamos con un reposabrazos central que cuenta con la posibilidad de regular en profundidad, pero no en altura. Accionando un tirador ubicado debajo del reposabrazos, levantaremos el reposabrazos dejando a la vista un pequeño hueco donde dejar cualquier objeto. Cuenta con una toma de mechero de 12 V y una toma USB para cargar el móvil.

Se
trata de un motor de 4 cilindros gasolina al que se le ha añadido un pequeño motor eléctrico. La
batería que alimenta el motor eléctrico, a diferencia del resto de modelos de la gama, resulta ser de
metal hidruro-níquel, en vez de iones de litio. La marca justifica esta diferencia explicando que la
versión sedán se fabrica en otro país, y por temas de logística, se fabrica con esa batería.
La puesta a punto de este coche es muy confortable. El tarado de suspensión es blando, pero sin
llegar a balancear en exceso la carrocería. En el eje delantero cuenta con un esquema McPherson,
mientras que el eje trasero cuenta con un sistema multibrazo, lo que mejora su conducción
notablemente.
La respuesta del vehículo a la hora de acelerar es más que suficiente para una conducción tranquila y

Salvo este pequeño problema endémico de todos los cambios CVT, el Corolla resulta cómodo de
conducir, con un volante con una dirección asistida eléctricamente que facilita notablemente la
conducción en ciudad y un puesto de conducción cómodo y con buena visibilidad.

Sin embargo, tal y como hemos podido comprobar, el sedán es una clara opción a valorar si buscas un coche pequeño, amplio y económico.
En este caso, su precio ronda los 31.200€ (sin descuentos) que pueden parecer mucho, en cambio contamos con un coche muy bien equipado y con etiqueta medioambiental ECO, además de unos muy buenos consumos.
