La semana sobre dos ruedas ha sido protagonizada por una moto con estilo, apta para casi cualquier público y a un precio muy asequible, la Daelim Daystar 125 es una custom con aires de grandeza muy útil para el día a día por la ciudad.

Sus proporciones, aunque contenidas, tiene una buena proporcionalidad y aparenta ser una custom de fuerza y peso; pero nada más lejos, su motor de un cilindro cubica unos suficientes 125 centímetros cúbicos que rinden 12 caballos cumplidores que mueven con eficacia sus considerables 166 kilos de peso.

Sus aires de custom nos hacen girar la cabeza a su paso

Su diseño, pese a ser similar al de sus rivales directas, tiene una robustez y un empaque únicos y sus colores oscuros y mates le sientan a la perfección.

La custom de Daelim está dirigido a un público nostálgico, con gusto por los diseños convencionales y que no necesitan rodar a velocidades altas para disfrutar del viaje. La ciudad es su hábitat natural y no le gusta mucho visitar estaciones de servicios.

La marca asiática vive un buen momento, su estabilidad a nivel mundial es palpable y sus modelos cuentan con mayor calidad y ya están al nivel que los usuarios europeos exigen hoy en día.

Nacida para recorrerla, la Daelim Daystar se encuentra en su salsa por las calles de la ciudad, un chasis corto y ligero, un tarado de suspensiones blando y de largo recorrido junto a su motor poco gastón y elástico hacen de ella una moto perfecta para el día a día.

El asiento tiene un mullido aceptable y su baja altura nos permite llegar al suelo con facilidad, por lo tanto los semáforos no tendrán inconveniente con la Daystar.

Nada más salir a rodar fuera de la ciudad vamos viendo sus pequeños defectos, su motor elástico se vuelve gritón y transmite bastante vibración a asiento y manillar, su ritmo es bueno y pese a su peso se incorpora bien hasta alcanzar una velocidad de crucero de 90/100 kilómetros por hora.
No podemos pedir mucho más (y no es poco) a un cilindro que cubica 124 centímetros cúbicos. A resumidas cuentas, tiene un ritmo dentro de la media de su categoría.

El equipamiento de ésta custom “low cost” está protagonizado por el sistema de frenada combinada, la cuál nos facilitará salir airosos de una frenada de emergencia gracias al reparto de la capacidad de frenado aunque solo frenemos una de las ruedas.

Como buena custom equipa una gran rueda delantera de 18″ y un manillar prominente que se acerca a nosotros para permitirnos una mejor maniobrabilidad. Como detalle resaltaremos su bonito reloj indicador del nivel de gasolina situado  incrustado sobre el depósito.

También cuenta con un sistema de inyección que alimenta su económico bloque monocilíndrico

Puede que la marca no destaque por sus lujosos acabados, recordemos que nos ofrecen un estilo único por menos de 3.000€. Sus acabados son resultones, con un aspecto que convence pero que con el paso del tiempo puede dar la cara y empeorar. 

El asiento acabado en símil de piel es muy aparente y la combinación de cromados y negros mate le sientan de maravilla.
Sus doble palanca (al estilo Harley) de cambios y su pedal de freno están terminados en hierro pintado, todo un acierto.

Muy buen trabajo hecho por Daelim, la Daystar es un modelo con un nivel de ventas mundial que muchos no alcanzan, han sabido mantener su esencia e incluso dar un toque más de apariencia sin variar a penas su precio. Nos espera un 2019 en la que seguro que es noticia la marca.

Seguimos teniendo claro que se puede tener una moto bonita y práctica sin desembolsar dinero en exceso.
