Desde la fundación de la marca en 1921, Moto Guzzi ha creado auténticos mitos de la historia de las dos ruedas. Lejos ya queda el motor de 500 centímetros cúbicos y 8 caballos de potencia que movía al primer modelo de serie.

Desde ese momento la Moto Guzzi compaginó la producción para el mercado con la competición en grandes premios de velocidad.

En la década de los 60 nació un modelo con un motor bicilíndrico en “V” y 700 centímetros cúbicos, la histórica V7.

El diseño de la V7 original se ha mantenido casi intacto hasta hoy en día y la invitada que tenemos esta semana en supermotor es una evolución de la misma.

La V9 cuenta con un motor de 853 c.c. y un diseño más minimalista y cuidado, con un depósito con formas más finas y detalladas.

El acabado sport equipa un asiento monoplaza muy acertado y con una ergonomía suficiente con un mullido algo justo para largos viajes pero que se adapta de maravilla al estilo de la moto.

Un motor grande nos puede hacer pensar que la moto en cuestión no sea muy apta para ciudad pero no es el caso de la V9 que con su postura de conducción relajada y su bajo centro de gravedad la convierten en una moto fácil de manejar.

55 caballos a 6.250 rpm y 62 Nm a 3.000 rpm nos moverán de manera ágil y rápida con un buen ritmo a bajas vueltas, ideal para trayectos urbanos.

Su depósito es de 15 litros de capacidad y nos permitirá tener una autonomía cercana a los 250 km, más que suficiente para el uso diario en ciudad.

La única pega que le podemos encontrar en este ambiente es el asiento, con un diseño muy acertado pero con un mullido demasiado leve y plano que no agarra y nos puede incomodar con el paso de los kilómetros.

No sentiremos lo mismo en la posición de los brazos ya que pese a tener un manillar plano bastante deportivo conseguimos llevarlos levemente flexionados y la espalda algo adelantada pero muy cercana a 90º.

Su 850 c.c. nos pide guerra y primero decidimos salir a autovía sin importarnos el aire que nos tragaremos a velocidades de crucero, todas las vibraciones que tenemos en parado se mitigan en cuanto nos ponemos en movimiento sintiendo un confort de marcha óptimo.

La capacidad de recuperación de su bicilíndrico es genial, sin titubeos alcanza velocidades límites legales y nos permite realizar adelantamientos e incorporaciones de manera segura.

Salimos a carreteras secundarias para verificar las cualidades de parte ciclo de la V9 Bobber Sport.

En zonas de curvas se siente muy aplomada gracias a su escasa altura y las gomas de serie, que pese a sus dimensiones tumban de maravilla.
Las marchas están bien escalonadas y nos permiten olvidarnos un poco del cambio siendo suplido por su par motor desde bajas vueltas.

Para la frenada la marca ha confiado en un disco flotante de 320 mm con pinza de 4 pistones Brembo delante y un disco de 260 mm con pinza de 2 pistones detrás, ambos equipados con ABS que ofrecen una buena mordida con buen tacto y sin fatiga en condiciones normales. El ABS es poco intrusivo.

Y vamos con la guinda del pastel, las suspensiones firmadas por Öhlins en una trasera con basculante con doble amortiguador regulable en la precarga del muelle de 97 mm y una delantera con horquilla tradicional de Ø 40 mm.

Su comportamiento dinámico es excelente, sobre todo a la hora de exigir más en zona de curva con un tarado duro que mantiene a la moto pegada al suelo sin ningún balanceo.

Por contra notaremos demasiada dureza detrás a la hora de superar baches o badenes.

Podemos considerar la V9 Bobber como una cruiser y por lo tanto podremos viajar lejos con ella, por motor y parte ciclo no será… Pero si es recomendable utilizar un asiento touring para trayectos largos.
