Los pasos de rueda y protecciones en ambos paragolpes en negro mate dan un aire más campero a este coreano, en la parte del paragolpes trasero incluso con un difusor muy atractivo. Las ópticas son de nuevo diseño y tecnología mixta “halógena y led”, con una calidad de firma lumínica muy atractiva.

La unidad que estamos probando monta unas preciosas llantas 18″ con corte diamante en bi-tono, sinceramente le dan un aspecto tan elegante a este SUV que me opacan todos los otros modelos disponibles de llantas, seria un equipamiento esencial en caso de comprarme un Korando.
Además este Cherry Red es muy bonito, un color particular para mantenerlo limpio pero es ya un factor común en este tipo de tonalidades, las plásticos mate, cromados y toques en negro brillo resaltan en todo el conjunto.

En la banqueta trasera encontramos un respaldo algo más inclinado de la media del segmento, en algunos son regulables en dos posiciones pero en este caso no es así, es cómodo pero no hubiese quedado nada mal una regulación del respaldo e incluso de la banqueta general para poder ganar más maletero.

El espacio delantero es cómodo y a la vez práctico, el diseño del salpicadero nos lleva a recordar diseños de todo-terreno antiguo pero mezclando una calidad y diseño actual muy acertado, para mi gusto algo excesivo el uso de black piano “negro brillo” pero como todo para gustos … las pantallas de info-entretenimiento como la de cuadro de instrumentos que lleva nuestra unidad tienen buena calidad y son muy fluidas, además puedes tener conectividad con Apple CarPlay y AndroidAuto.

En cuanto a la mecánica de gasolina G15T, arroja 163 CV y 280 Nm de par máximo, pero lo mejor es que este par máximo se encuentra disponible desde tan solo 1.500 rpm hasta las 4.000 rpm. Con ello se obtiene una respuesta sumamente suave y contundente, con un comportamiento a bajo régimen similar a un Diesel pero con un margen de utilización mucho más amplio. Sin embargo hay que tener en cuenta que es muy sensible al pedal del gas y las relaciones de marcha, porque sus consumos se elevan notablemente si abusamos de este Korando llegando en un abrir y cerrar de ojos a los 10 litros a los 100 kms, pero si somos algo más conscientes llegamos a cifras de 7,2 litros /100 kms como los que nos ha dado en toda nuestra medición.

El confort de marcha es muy bueno, el diseño se distancia de lo común en el segmento mezclando esos diseños y estilos coreanos con aires más europeos “raro sí” pero ha resultado positiva este arriesgo por la marca, han logrado un producto redondo que podrás adquirir desde 17.500 euros en versiones iniciales hasta unos 25.000 € aproximadamente por hacerte con una unidad similar a la que hemos probado.
