Los paragolpes son mucho más grandes en la versión RUBICON ofreciendo mayor resistencia y ángulos mejorados para el uso OFF-ROAD.
Desde el lateral vemos el diseño mítico en forma de caja, con líneas muy rectas pero con alguna nervadura en la aleta delantera para ofrecer algo más actual e insertar una salida de aire para mejorar la refrigeración del motor. Además las ruedas Mud-Terrain de 32″ con tacos le dan ese aspecto robusto a todo el conjunto.

En esta unidad podemos ver todo el chasis del mismo color amarillo, en el techo la lona “eléctrica” de color negro y llegamos a la saga donde el diseño Wrangler permanece intacto.
Pero así como en el frontal las ópticas traseras son renovadas ahora Full Led y con diseño muy atractivos. Además la rueda anclada en el portón trasero es una seña inconfundible de este Jeep, se puede ver la tercera luz de freno en la parte superior del soporte de la rueda y una camara marcha atras en la parte central de la rueda.

Las plazas traseras además de incluir anclajes ISOFIX el espacio es cómodo para 3 ocupantes, incluso la central que suele ser la menos cómoda en este caso cumple con muy buena nota.
Las plazas delanteras nos encontramos con dos plazas cómodas y bien acopladas dentro del salpicadero así como el túnel central algo elevado divide ambas zonas claramente. El salpicadero incluye todas las funciones de equipamiento así como el equipo multimedia de manera armonizada, con toques muy robustos en los detalles hacen de este Jeep una auténtica joya!

Sin embargo es una opción muy atractiva.
En el maletero podemos tener un espacio suficiente para viajar, además está bien terminado con detalles de calidad. Incluido un Subwoofer Alpine bien integrado en un lateral respetando el espacio general y manteniendo una excelente calidad del audio.

Este par del motor de cuatro cilindros supera la del anterior motor V6 que ofrecía el Wrangler (así nos afirma la marca en sus datos), al tiempo que mejora el consumo de combustible, impulsa el rendimiento y el confort en todas las situaciones. Además presenta de serie el sistema Engine Stop-Start (ESS).

64.000 € es lo que cuesta este Wrangler con el techo de lona eléctrico y toda la versión equipada como la unidad probada, ¿los vale? a mi sinceramente me parece que sí, sin embargo va un poco en función de lo que buscas y realmente necesites, porque con este Wrangler RUBICON debes estar pisando barro y tierra el 85 % del tiempo, ya que es donde se mueve con total soltura. En asfalto tiene buen comportamiento pero no resulta ser un coche tan cómodo como otras alternativas todo-terreno actuales.
