El Kia XCeed desde su presentación internacional en Marsella nos cautivó por su diseño tan especial. Desde el exterior podemos observar pocas diferencias con respecto al modelo con motores gasolina / diesel, esta versión PHEV tiene como principal diferencia la zona de recarga en la aleta delantera del piloto.

Las lineas aerodinámicas de corte coupé nacen desde el frontal para dar músculo al lateral y hacer una caída pronunciada en la trasera. En el carenado “tiger nose” delantero nos damos cuenta de otra diferencia en esta versión por tener la parrilla cerrada.

Los pasos de rueda en negro mate y las protecciones en símil aluminio se mantienen vivas en el modelo para no renunciar a su aspecto crossover e incluso algo campero.

La parte trasera viene siendo el detalle más rompedor de este XCeed ya que el frontal hereda muchísimo de su mellizo compacto el Ceed. La parte baja del paragolpes notamos dos salidas de escape en cromo “falsas” detalle que es pinton en diseño pero deja mucho que desear para un modelo de más de 35.000 €.

El interior del KIA XCeed de igual manera nos ha sorprendido, es un coche con buenos materiales y ajustes generales, el Pack Luxury que trae nuestra unidad de pruebas trae calefacción y ventilación para asientos delanteros, calefacción en asientos traseros como volante calefactado, este detalle hace que el coche no lleve levas como en otros acabados.

El interior pasa con buena nota para 5 ocupantes, siendo la plaza central la menos recomendable como era de esperarse, sin embargo el coche tiene una habitabilidad correcta. Nuestra unidad trae el cuadro de instrumentos digital y el sistema de info-entretenimiento con UVO Connect, ambas pantallas con buena resolución así como unos acabados muy buenos. Además tenemos techo solar practicable.

El primer video de esta temporada 2020 ha sido el XCeed, nos atrevemos adelantar que es un modelo muy bueno para tenerlo en la lista de posibles compras, el PHEV mantiene esta premisa, con una única pega funcional el reducido maletero y dinámica el deposito de combustible algo pequeño reduciendo así la autonomía general.

Los híbridos enchufables tienen sentido para trayectos muy cortos y con conocimiento de las rutas para que puedas optimizar el uso de la energia para así elegir en que modo ir en cada trayecto. No olvides la garantia de KIA  y el salto de calidad general en los últimos años, esto como puntos positivos generales.
